Diane's love of wildlife and her need to create have blended beautifully to provide us, through her use of varied media, with her view of the natural world around us.
Diane's media include pencil and charcoal sketches, oil and acrylic paints, and papier-maché.

Interspersed with the text on the site are thumbnail views of sketches from her sketchbooks. Since 1982, Diane has filled 61 sketchbooks (and counting!). Diane estimates that she has sketched about 450 figures per book or approximently 27,450 sketches over a 23 year period. She asked me (the webmaster), "Could this be my life's work?" Yes, Diane, it could be!
Within these sketchbooks, Diane often records observations of the wildlife she's sketching, weather conditions, and other tidbits of information. She has recorded a great deal of information over the years about native wildlife.
